Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

Wilson Taylor, executive vice president, chief administrative officer and vice president, Support Services, has over 45 years of experience in leadership, human resources, administration and finance. As a member of TVA’s enterprise leadership team, Taylor is instrumental in developing and leading business-aligned strategies to ensure successful outcomes for both the 10,000 employees who power TVA’s mission and the 10 million customers they serve.

Taylor joined TVA as an intern in the late 1970s in Financial Services. After building a successful career in Financial Services, he moved to Human Resources in 2005.

In his current role, Taylor leads a wide range of support functions for retirees and employees, demonstrating his commitment to TVA’s values and building the quality and diversity of TVA’s workforce. As TVA's Ombudsman, Taylor assists, investigates and resolves concerns from employees and external stakeholders, drawing upon his experience as a facilitator to ensure timely and thoughtful responses.

Embracing TVA’s Core Value of Inclusion, Taylor supports TVA’s nine Employee Resource Groups, and serves as executive sponsor for the TVA New Employee Network. He is also a member of the enterprise Inclusion with Diversity Council.

Taylor earned a degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee. He is also a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Taylor is a master facilitator and a facilitator coach.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys serving the community on numerous non-profit boards, including United Way of Greater Knoxville and Boys & Girls Club.
