TVA offers for sale a wide range of materials and equipment, from pumps, motors, and valves to control rods and refueling machines. The appropriate storage conditions have been maintained and preventive maintenance performed where applicable. In addition, we can supply documentation for traceability on many surplus items.
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) proposes to sell at public auction property located in Knox County, Tennessee. The property, consisting of approximately 1.61 acres, including an approximately 16,800-square-foot warehouse building, is located at 4124 Greenway Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee, and identified in TVA records as Tract No. XKSF-4.
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE BID $435,000
The property will be sold to the qualified bidder offering the highest bid in the form of certified cashier’s check or wire transfer funds. In order to qualify to bid, TVA must receive, no later than 11:59 EDT on Sept. 28, 2020: 1) a $112,000 deposit and 2) a letter of intent to bid setting forth the name, address, contact phone number, email, and legal entity of the bidding party. Details of these qualifying requirements to bid are included in the Notice and Terms of Sale (“Notice”). Prospective bidders who fail to qualify will be notified prior to the auction.
The Notice specifically describes the property to be sold. The property will be sold pursuant to the special terms and conditions, restrictions, reservations, exceptions, and/or limitations specifically set forth in the Notice and as may be announced on the day of the sale. TVA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
The public auction will be held online beginning at 8 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020, with bidding running until 1 p.m. EDT on Monday, Oct. 5, 2020. The website for placing bids is www.targetauction.com.
