Deerfield Marina Proposed Commercial Recreation License and Water Use Facilities

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is reviewing a proposal to issue a permit pursuant to Section 26a of the TVA Act for the proposed Deerfield Marina. The property is on Norris Reservoir at Powell River mile 8.1R in Campbell County, Tennessee. The applicant has requested a license for the commercial operations of a new marina consisting of boat slips for public rent. The request is consistent with TVA’s land management policies.

On November 21, 2019, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) completed an environmental assessment (EA) and issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for its proposal to issue a permit pursuant to Section 26a of the TVA Act for the proposed Deerfield Marina.
