Deed Modification and Permanent Easement Request on Kentucky Reservoir

TVA is considering a request for deed modification over approximately 1.7 acres and a permanent easement over approximately 7.9 acres on Kentucky Reservoir at the Camden Dewatering area at Tennessee River mile 100.5 L, in Benton County, Tennessee. The Tennessee Department of Transportation has requested the deed modification and permanent easement to widen State Route-1 (US-70E) to a four-lane highway with a center turn lane. TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to granting a deed modification and easement.

TVA has also posted a Floodplains No Practicable Alternative Public Notice on its Floodplains and Wetlands Public Notice page and is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect floodplains.

Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection. All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before April 15, 2022. Written comments may be mailed to the address below or emailed to bdhubbard0@tva.gov.
