Proposed Section 26a Permit for a New Marina on Chatuge Reservoir

TVA is considering a request by Lake Chatuge Marine for a Section 26a permit for facilities associated with a new marina on Chatuge Reservoir. The proposal includes a launching ramp, multi-slip facility, and associated parking area. The location is on Hog Creek River Mile 0.1L at Hiwassee River Mile 126.7 in Towns County, Georgia.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
