TVA Board of Directors Hosts Virtual Meeting on November 10

KNOXVILLE – The Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors is encouraging interested individuals and groups to provide written comments and feedback on TVA operations and activities ahead of the Board’s quarterly business meeting beginning at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT) on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

As one of the many opportunities for public interaction with TVA, written comments for the Board members can be submitted through the Board webpage no later than noon ET on Tuesday, Nov. 9. Individuals without computer access may contact Wilson Taylor, TVA’s ombudsman, at 865-776-7015. All submissions will be reviewed by Board members prior to their business meeting.

Beyond the Board meeting, additional public input for the Board may be mailed to TVA Board of Directors, Board Comments, 400 West Summit Hill Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee 37902.

The Board’s Nov. 10 meeting will again be held in a virtual environment in compliance with federal and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance. The Board will consider the following agenda items:

  1. Approval of minutes of the Aug. 18, 2021 Board Meeting
  2. Report of the Audit, Finance, Risk, and Cybersecurity Committee
    A. Fiscal Year 2023 Pandemic Recovery Credit
    B. Financial Hedging Program
  3. Report of the Operations and Nuclear Oversight Committee
    A. Cumberland and Kingston – Plant Retirement and Generation Alternatives Delegation
  4. Report of the External Stakeholders and Regulation Committee
    A. Recognition of Local Power Company
