TVA Board of Directors Hosts Virtual Meeting on November 13

KNOXVILLE­­ – The Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors will again conduct its scheduled quarterly meeting in a virtual format at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 13, to comply with COVID-19 guidelines supporting the health and safety of TVA team members, the public and their families during the ongoing pandemic.

Although physical distancing requirements continue to make in-person comments in a traditional listening session impractical, the board encourages interested members of the public to make their opinions and comments heard through written comments. Individuals may submit written comments through the board’s webpage at https://www.tva.com/board no later than 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Individuals without computer access may contact Wilson Taylor, TVA’s ombudsman, at 865-776-7015. All comments will be presented to the board members prior to their Nov. 13 meeting.

The board will consider the following agenda items:

1.  Approval of minutes of the August 27, 2020, Board Meeting

2.   Report from President and CEO

3.   Report of the Finance, Rates, and Portfolio Committee

A.   FY 2021 Financial Plan and Budget

B.   Electric Vehicle Charging – Policy and Pricing

4.   Report of the People and Performance Committee

A.   Fiscal Year 2020 Performance and Compensation

B.   Fiscal Year 2021 Corporate Goals

5.   Report of the Audit, Risk, and Regulation Committee

      A.   Extension of Pandemic Relief Delegation

6.   Report of the Nuclear Oversight Committee

7.   Report of the External Relations Committee

8.   Information Items

A.   Executive Order 13950

B.   Strategic Assessment Review

C.  Policy on Requests to Use the TVA Transmission System

The board meeting can be viewed live from the Board of Directors’ webpage at https://www.tva.com/board. The link will be available a few minutes prior to start time of the meeting. TVA management will answer questions from the news media following the board meeting.
