SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Valley Authority is issuing a traffic caution to travelers on Winfield Dunn Parkway (State Route 66), approximately 1,500 feet south of the I-40 off ramp at exit 407. TVA is pulling new conductor cables across the parkway for increased power capacity and improved reliability.

Work is coordinated with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and is scheduled for Monday, June 1 through Friday, June 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Winfield Dunn Parkway will be restricted to one lane for both north and south bound traffic.

Travelers should use caution and follow traffic signals and signage at the area, use TDOT SmartWay, and pay attention to message boards for up-to-date traffic information.
